Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. In the next few years, she moved to Texas to pursue a physical therapy career at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas prior to moving to Orlando, Florida. In Orlando, she played various roles ranging in local independent films as well as global commercials. Despite small roles, she quickly discovered her passion for acting. Her move was in New York.
